Help tackle hunger in East Africa
East Africa is experiencing the driest conditions and hottest temperatures in 40 years. Drought is decimating both crops and livestock, which are the region's main sources of food and income. At least 23 million people across Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia, including 10 million children, are now facing severe food shortages and need urgent humanitarian assistance to prevent starvation.
Together we can protect lives and build more resilient futures
Due to the drought people have been forced to leave their homes to live in overcrowded camps. In Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia, Mercy Corps is distributing cash, food, water and hygiene kits that include necessities like soap and sanitary products to prevent disease spreading.
Will you take a moment to act now, with a donation that could make a life-saving difference to people and communities, and help them recover and be more resilient to future crises?
Around the world Mercy Corps teams are already on the ground where help is most needed. Your support today will help people in more than 40 countries as they prepare for, protect against, and recover from crises.
