Turn to your skills

Have you been getting creative during lockdown, or maybe you have a talent you could share with others? We have a few ideas to help you share and showcase your skills all while fundraising at the same time.

Teach an online class to raise money for Mercy Corps

Teach an online class

Is there something you could teach family, friends or your community virtually and fundraise at the same time? Do something you love while supporting your global community. Maybe a home-workout, music lessons or a sewing class?

Our in-house yogi, Kayleigh, has been hosting flow classes every Tuesday and Saturday to keep people feeling energised and refreshed. Kayleigh’s classes are on a donation basis, and open to all abilities. If you would like to join, email us at

Get crafty with homemade gifts

Have you been spending time in lockdown trying out new hobbies or getting creative? Then why not make homemade gifts, cards or jewellery and send them to family and friends for a small donation?

Host an open mic night

If you and your friends are missing open mic nights, karaoke performances or choir rehearsals, why not host your own and give everyone the chance to share their talent in aid of Mercy Corps.

Invite everyone along to your chosen virtual platform and ask them for a donation as an entry fee, to either participate or enjoy the music!
