Sabdio Darso is a GIRL (Girls Improving Resilience with Livelihood) Project Officer for Mercy Corps, based in Kenya. As a GIRL officer, she manages and works with hundreds of vulnerable adolescent girls, in and out of school, to help them realise economic empowerment, increase their food security, and improve their ability to adapt to crisis. She is a 2019 Mandela Washington Fellow for Young African Leadership Initiative, where she studied Leadership in Civic Engagement at the University of Georgia. She is passionate about child protection and development.
