27 May 2014
In March - June 2013, a consortium involving Mercy Corps and four other INGO and NGO partners conducted a socio-economic analysis of Kayah State in Myanmar with funding from the European Union. The purpose of the comprehensive analysis was to provide insights into the range of issues that communities face in Kayah, including issues in health, education, livelihoods, access to finance, WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene), infrastructure (electricity and roads), environment and natural resources, and land.
