Value Chain Assessment in Bekaa Valley

With support from the European Union, Mercy Corps conducted a market value chain analysis in Bekaa Valley to inform a series of agriculture programming. Using these assessments, Mercy Corps is focused on building greater market linkages for small farmers focused on tomato production and small ruminants, i.e. goats and sheep, for milk production.
As informed by this assessment, programming includes tailored technical training for farmers and in-kind supply provision to enhance the quality of their agricultural outputs.
