Youth

The world's population is young: about 40 per cent of people are under the age of 25.

Young people hold tremendous potential for the future, yet also face unique challenges: finding enough work, mitigating the increasing impacts of climate change, gaining access to a quality education, and more.

Many are dealing with all of these challenges while coping with conflict, violence, trauma and other significant stressors.

That’s why we work to provide young people with the tools, resources and services they need to succeed and build a brighter future for themselves and their communities. We give them psychosocial support to address their trauma. We connect them with job training and opportunities. We create safe spaces that serve as refuges from difficult and dangerous circumstances.

The decisions that young people make today will determine the outcomes of tomorrow. Supporting them is critical for the future.
